If you have not been to Mind Connections before, this is the place to start. The new patients section walks you through how to get a referral from your GP, what to expect at your first appointment, what to bring on the day, and answers to the questions first-time patients ask most often. The process is more straightforward than many people expect, and the reception team at both clinics is available to help at any point along the way.

Fees & Funding

Mind Connections is a private specialist service, and fees vary by clinician and appointment type. The good news is that a range of funding pathways can substantially reduce your out-of-pocket costs, and in some cases eliminate them entirely. This section explains Medicare rebates and the Safety Net, private health insurance, DVA funding for veterans, WorkCover and third party insurance, and subsidised services available through WentWest and the Western Sydney Primary Health Network. Reception will always confirm the exact fee and rebate before you book, so there are no surprises.

Book Online

Appointments at Mind Connections can be booked online at any time. New patients can select a clinician at Carlingford or Norwest and choose an available time, with telehealth options available for eligible appointments. Existing patients can book follow-up and review sessions, or log in through Automed to view and manage their bookings.
