Services

Getting the right kind of support starts with understanding what is available. At Mind Connections, psychiatrists and psychologists consult across two purpose-built clinics in Carlingford and Norwest, offering a broad range of specialist mental health services under one roof. Telehealth appointments are also available across NSW and Australia wide for eligible consultations.

Whether you are coming for the first time or have been managing a mental health condition for years, the services here are designed to meet you where you are.

Psychiatry

Psychiatrists at Mind Connections provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of mental health conditions in adults. If you have been struggling and are not sure why, or if previous treatment has not delivered lasting results, a psychiatric assessment is often the right place to start. A referral from your GP is required, and Medicare rebates apply to eligible consultations.

TMS

Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is a non-invasive, non-medication brain stimulation treatment with a strong evidence base for treatment-resistant depression and other mental health conditions. Mind Connections offers MRI-guided TMS with advanced iTBS protocols at both Carlingford and Norwest. TMS is a highly innovative treatment and uses magnetic pulses to stimulate brain activity. It can be particularly helpful for patients who have not responded to traditional treatments or medications. TMS is safe, therapeutic and well tolerated with generally minimal side effects. Because there is no sedation involved, you can drive yourself to and from each session. Medicare rebates apply for eligible patients.
